Forecastfox 0.8.5 Released
We’ve finally gotten version 0.8.5 out the door. Here’s whats new.
- Added: Forecast links now point to the forecast for each day.
- Added: Search and ping request use highest priority connection. Updates use the lowest priority.
- Added: Provide API for adding, deleting, and accessing icon packs
- Added: Create gui for adding/deleting/changing icon packs
- Added: Allow web installs of icon packs.
- Added: Locale specific, and user selectable unit of measure conversions
- Fixed: win.document.getElementById(”ff-box”) has no properties
- Fixed: Wind units are incorrect
- Fixed: Metric units are wrong
- Fixed: Clicking on Alerts does nothing in Firefox 1.5B2
- Fixed: (Mozilla Suite) Loading Progress Bar Does Not Display Properly
- Fixed: Alert slider is malformed
- Fixed: Not opening new tabs in the background when preference is unset
- Fixed: Main component now starts up and shutdown based on profile load notification
- Fixed: Datasources for export, profiles and icon packs are now created from scratch instead of copied from the extension directory. This should fix some file access errors.
- Fixed: All data is now written to disk in UTF-8 character data.
Forecastfox is a Firefox extension that lets you get international weather forecasts from AccuWeather.com, and display it in any toolbar or statusbar.
