Wyatt’s CT Scan
Today we had Wyatt’s CT scan. We were lucky that he did not require sedation. We just skipped his morning nap and then got him to sleep at the hospital. They were then able to do the scan while he slept. We will not know anything for a couple of days, but hopefully all is well. The pediatrician does not seem to concerned since Wyatt has been meeting or exceeding all his milestones. We mainly did the scan to see if the flat spot on his head could be craniosynostosis or plagiocephaly. Plagiocephaly is a much less serious condition and usually causes no problems. Craniosynostosis is a more severe condition and needs to be treated with surgery.
