Treadmill Desk

I’m really trying to become conscious about my health and how to get fit and stay fit. I recently ran across a website for a Treadmill Desk that intrigued me. The thought is you walk at a slow pace as you work, less than 1 mile an hour. By going slow the walking doesn’t interfere with working, yet you are still burning calories. Here is a cheap $49 do it yourself version of the treadmill desk. I think I would like to try this out, but I was wondering if there was anyone that has tried it out? Can you actually type at speed while walking?

When it rains…

It pours. I guess its the time of year when everything decides its had enough. First, my garage door opener broke, then last week I lost the harddrive on my computer. Now, after raining all night my sump pump decided it didn’t want to shut off. Sure it didn’t cost me much to fix these thing, but the time and enough make it a real pain.

Camcorder revisited

I’ve mentioned here before that Rachel and I have been looking at camcorders lately. We stumbled upon a good deal over the weekend. The Panasonic we had been looking at is usually $349 dollars, but Sears had them on sale for $299. Turns out the store we were at didn’t have any, but they did have one that was purchased and then returned the next day. They sold us that one for $200.

Hard Drive Crash

My hard drive in my desktop has had a noticable tick for the past month or so. Well, It decided to give up the ghost on Saturday. I had to steal a hard drive out of my printer server to get it back up and running, so I’ve spent all weekend rebuilding my 2 computers. What a pain!

Camcorders

Rachel and I were looking at camcorders this weekend. We’re thinking about getting the Panasonic PV-GS9. Can anyone tell me what their experience with them has been like? Is this a good product for the price?
