Day 2

Rachel had the baby over the weekend. Wyatt Todd Klein was born at 5:01 PM on Sunday November 26th. He weighed six pounds and was nineteen and three quarter inches long. Today is our second day home with him. Thing are going well and Noah does not seem to be too jealous of him yet. Hopefully things will continue to go as smoothly.

Big Changes Coming

With the holiday season now upon us, our family has a huge amount of changes occurring. We are now down to the last two weeks of Rachel’s pregnancy. I think she will go at anytime, and after eleven years working for the same company, I’ve accepted a position at a new company. So starting December 18th I will have a new job and will be working from home. I think these things will be a huge transition for us, but I think it could be pretty incredible.

Pregnancy Progress

We are down to the last 4 weeks of Rachel’s pregnancy. It’s an exciting but scary time. We found out yesterday that the baby is still breach, and it has the umbilical cord around its neck. This means if Rachel goes into labor that they would do a c-section. It also means that the doctors will not try to turn the baby because of the cord. The baby is healthy and the doctors do not seem to be worried about it, but it’s hard for us not to be.

Being Prepared

We are now down to less than 5 weeks until Rachel’s due date. I think we are doing well in getting ready for the new baby. We have moved Noah out of the nursery and into his “Big Boy” room, we have starting purchasing diapers and other essentials, and we are getting ready to get the baby toys out of storage. Even with all we have done, it’s hard to feel prepared for such a life changing experience and this is our second child :)

1 years old

It’s so hard to believe that Noah turned one last week. It seems like only yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital.

Ultrasound Results

Rachel and I had a 20 week ultrasound yesterday. We found out that we are going to have another boy. That should be nice for Noah since they will be so close together. If you include the cats the count is now 4 to 2 in favor of the boys. I think Rachel is starting to fill left out.

Another Tooth

Noah is now up to 2 teeth. Its funny how long it took for them to start coming in versus how fast they are coming in now.

First Tooth

Noah is getting his first tooth. To tell the truth I was a little worried about him getting one since most babies get them around 9 months. He started getting his the week he turned 10 months.

Walk Like a Man

Noah has been becoming increasing confident; over the past couple of weeks, in standing and walking. He is walking well when he holds either Rachel’s hand or mine. He hasn’t taken more than a couple of steps on his own though.

It’s amazing how he picks up these new skills. It seems like there is nothing happening for a couple of weeks, and then he’ll start trying something new, and by the end of the week he is doing it like an old pro.

Big Brother

Noah is going to be a big brother. Rachel is pregnant and in her 13th week. We are excited, but still kind of in disbelief.
